Correct preparation for an adventure trip can make the difference between an unforgettable trip or an unrepeatable nightmare.
• Comfortable suit, with lots of ventilation, wear layers in case of cold weather. Base dress (pants and jersey), outer layer (waterproof jacket and pants serve to protect from rain, wind and cold), inner layer (use in fleece, can be used between the jersey and jacket while driving or alone over t-shirt at night when we finish the route)
• High-top boots that are rigid at the ankles and have shin protection at the front, a good grip sole that allows us to walk in cases of visiting places of interest in the middle of the route.
• Dual-purpose helmet that has a removable visor. If you need to use goggles on off-road sections, always look for helmets with good ventilation and as light as possible, ideally made of carbon fiber.
• Gloves, it is recommended to always carry 2 pairs, they can be off-road ones (elastic, ventilated, thin and comfortable, with a good touch) and a little thicker ones for connecting sections on the road, these can be made of more rigid textiles and with protections. extra knuckles. If you can use the offroad ones below the touring ones you have an extra layer of protection against the cold if necessary.
• Backpack with a minimum 2 L hydration bladder, check that it has X anchor straps for greater comfort and weight distribution.
• Soft suitcases, saddlebag type or tubular, ideally dry bags or waterproof, these should be installed as close as possible to the center of the motorcycle and should not exceed 20 cm in height or 15 kg in weight when carried on the rear rack.
• Wicks and/or sealing liquids to repair punctures and always carry at least one inner tube or tire of the largest wheel size we have, even if our motorcycle is tubeless.
• Keys to remove both the front and rear wheels and levers to remove covers and change tubes.
• Basic tool: set of sockets or cups, allen wrenches, torch wrenches, star and spade screwdriver, pliers, black and gray insulating tape, tie raps or plastic straps, ep putty oxic and flashlight.
• Dehydrated food minimum of 2 servings, energy bars and hydrating salts, accompanied by a water filter to be able to supply ourselves from any natural source without getting sick.
• Disposable thermal blanket is used in case you have to spend the night in the middle of the route or to assist in an accident.
• Depending on the planned route and the autonomy of our motorcycle, a fuel filter and an extra bag or tank to refuel.
